12 May 2016, Sarkand, Kazakhstan – 6 May 2016 in Sarkand in the traditional agronomy meeting of the Department of Agriculture of Almaty region LLP "EFKO Almaty", one of the largest Fat&Oil enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has presented a support program for farmers in the region. More than 140 heads of regional state bodies of the Republic and agribusiness enterprises attended the seminar-meeting.
The main topics of the meeting were the issues of preplanting tillage, use of herbicides, seed quality, sowing soybean technologies in the region and many others.
As noted by the participants, soybean is becoming more popular among regional farmers – it is demanded in the food industry, meat and dairy farming, so the increase in its production volume today is very important for the nation. In such a case, the largest processor of oilseeds in Kazakhstan the EFKO group is launching the advance payment program to farmers. The director of LLP "EFKO ALMATY" Nurzhan Kuanyshevich Kozhamuratov mentioned that in his speech.
"High-quality high-yield soybean seeds and plant protection products will be sold under the crop practically at cost price, thanks to a stable and secure procurement system the agricultural producers will receive a guarantee for their products", – he explained.
This is the 1st reproduction of the zoned soybean seeds varieties "Selecta 302", which is considered to be the most optimal for the cultivation of local climatic conditions and can count on an increase in productivity of at least 5-10 centner per 1 hectare.
In addition, EFKO plans to launch an extensive educational program aimed to strengthen the culture of agricultural technologies. The company hopes that the implementation of agricultural support program will help to increase crop yield and gross harvest of oilseeds in Kazakhstan.
