EEC and the executive bodies of Kazakhstan representatives assessed the reconstruction process of the production site of LLP "EFKO ALMATY"

29 April 2016, Almaty, Kazakhstan – At 28 April the Agroindustrial Department of EEC, executive authorities in Kazakhstan and Fat&Oil Association of EEU representatives examined and assessed the reconstruction process of the production site of LLP "EFKO ALMATY".

22.jpgA delegation consisting of the Director of the Department of Agrarian Policy of ECE Stanislav Buben, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Executive Secretary Arman Evniev, Committee member on agrarian issues Mazhilis, of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Barlybaeva, Secretary of the National Chamber of Food Industry Committee of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Erbol Esineeva, executive Director of "Magique" Kairat Nurpeisov, executive director of the Association of Oil and Fat Eurasian economic Union Muhlaeva Alexander, executive director of the Association of producers and consumers of oil and fat products Ekaterina Nesterova visited the production site of the company "EFKO" in Kazakhstan.

The inspection program included a visit to the production facilities of LLP "EFKO ALMATY" – oil extraction plant soybean processing capacity of 400 tons per day, the plant for the production of specialty fats and margarines, and the production of bottled vegetable oil factory.

Today LLP "EFKO ALMATY" is one of the largest Fat&Oil enterprises in Kazakhstan. According to the company Nurzhan Kozhamuratov director, the factory is located in the promising area of raw material and carries out procurement of raw materials from 400 local farmers; as well, the company recently launched a program to support local farmers. "As part of Pre-harvest financial program to farmers we provided high-quality soybean seeds and plant protection products. We hope that this will increase productivity and the overall gross yield on the territory of the Republic", - he said.

Particular attention is paid to visit the factory for the production of specialty fats and margarines company. This type of product is used as an ingredient for food production in the confectionery, bakery, dairy and other food industries. Thanks to the modernization of production and introducing new technologies enterprise led to the production of high fat products in just a few months. Earlier, Kazakhstan imported specialty fats, and now the company cannot only meet the needs of the Republic, but also actively supplies already Kazakh products for export to the countries of Central Asia.

The company's plans are the expansion of production capacity and export sales, making Kazakhstan in the medium term may become the dominant player in Fat&Oil market in Central Asia. Representatives of the executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved and promised to support such a beginning.
