15 December 2016, Almaty, Kazakhstan – Under the IV International investment forum ALMATY INVEST 2016 a delegation of major foreign investors, Almaty akimat representatives, and the media visited the production of the company "EFKO ALMATY", one of the largest Kazakhstan Fat&Oil enterprises.
The program of the tour included visiting the production facilities of LLP "EFKO ALMATY" and the plant for the specialized fats and margarines production. This product is a necessary ingredient for the production of a wide range of food products in the confectionery, bakery, dairy and other food industries.
Guests were pleasantly surprised. Due to the workshops modernization, to an appropriate global standards of equipment and an implementation of new modern technologies, LLP "ALMATY EFKO" in just a few months managed to manufacture the high-quality fat food products. Large sums were invested in new production laboratory, fitted with the most advanced European equipment. Laboratory is specialized on the study of physical and chemical properties of fats and carries out the quality control of each batch of finished products.
As noted by General Director Nurzhan Kozhamuratov: "Earlier Kazakhstan imported specialized fats, but now we could not only meet the needs of the food industry of the Republic, but also began to supply Kazakhstani products for export to the Central Asia".
The participants showed the great interest in the company’s activities, the quality management system operation and the export capacity of the company and exchanged contacts with the management for the further prospective cooperation.
